... if she's had her shots or maybe has flees. Mom has been trying to find out if she has a family. Today one of the neighbors told mom where she lives. Seems that she likes our yard better so mom will keep feeding her but feels much better knowing the kitty has a home. Besides she provides good exercise for me and BB as we run from window to window keeping an eye on her. Mom and dad have been very busy visiting family and friends. ...

... took us right to the falls. Lauren and I felt a bit uneasy as we walked right next to the edge of a 2,000 foot drop in order to reach the falls from the south side. The water was low by this time of the year so people were swimming in the pools above the falls and jumping form the rocks. Even though the river was low, it was still a bit dangerous to be swimming above the largest waterfall in North America.

... be a light snack of sandwiches - how wrong we were - as these mammoth sized hunks of food were placed on our table (and Sam's bread was actually fried...!) Despite the menu claiming my sandwich had 'thin cut ham' it soon became apparent that they had used an entire family-sized pack to complete my order.. Needless to say we are both on diets now as we have scoffed some serious calories on our way up the coast!
