... clips on a giant screen. The place was all lit up with lots of neon. Lets hope they do something like that somewhere in the Christchurch rebuild. A bit of shopping and then into the van heading for home. We had well and truly missed the rush hour traffic so had a quick 35 minute ride home, even quicker for Rosie and Sam as eyes shut all the way.
Kids went swimming until they got kicked out by security at 10pm.
Not sure what tomorrow holds, think we all need a day off!!

LA maar zonder een bezoek aan Hollywood
... hele interstate versperden omwille van een aanrijding. Om 21 uur zijn we in Azusa een slaapplaats gaan zoeken. Zo leerden we de binnenkant van de plaatselijke Rodeway Inn kennen. Iets verderop bij de In and out iets te eten gehaald. Onze dag was toen vierentwintig uur oud en de lichtjes gingen toen snel uit... Morgen zien we zeker iets anders dan autosnelwegen en dicht op elkaar gepakte auto's.

Dr Phil
... very serious nature of the show's content. It was great to see Dr Phil do his thing in front of a live audience and we were lucky enough to receive a book as a gift. This book was written by one of Dr Phil’s guests and should make for an interesting read. We decided not to re-enter the set for the filming of another episode as it was already after midday. Instead we made our way to Universal Studios to do and see the things we did not manage to fit in ...
