    ... found a best buy who didn't stock our SIM card we needed. Tried a target, who had it, but as we learned would not fit our iPhone 5! So we had to pick something which then wouldn't scan.     ... the fish they serve is actually not fresh from the sea as you would think so it put us off a bit. There is a sea lion colony next to Pier 39 and we are kicking ourselves as we forgot to go and find them when we were there. I think it was because we were distracted by our first sighting of Alcatraz and then an awesome crab sculpture.

    Just after noon, mountian time here. We left or camp at walker pass about 8am and headed west towards Isabella lake, then north to wolfford heights.
