        ... Theater. It took us west along the final stretches of Route 66 along Santa Monica Blvd. We saw the Vanderpump restaurants. We then headed into the exclusive Holmby Hills and then Beverly Hills. Most houses have limited visibility from the road but glimpses of roofs, gardens, garages, etc gave us an idea of the opulence. Millionaires don't live here, just billionaires. We passed the Playboy Mansion. No more parties. Hef is too old. There were some entertainers living in this area ...

        ... Marilyn Monroe, and Jimmy Stewart. If you are in this city for some reason, stay nowhere else. It is such a treat.

        Our new year's eve consisted of visiting one of this planet's beautiful places, we saw whales, we are staying in a fantastic hotel, and we made a new friend. I do not think it possible for our 2014 to have ended better. We hope yours went as well. Happy new year everyone!

        ... jump. I kept the rod tip down and pulled back as she neared the surface. She only got her head out just past her gills. I then knew two things. She was big and barely hooked. She had the hudd flying around and I could see that she was only hooked by one of the trebles and barely. I felt sure she would come off.         There was no bike ride today as we had so much to do to prepare for Rob's birthday party and the family gift exchange.
        Rob and I spent all of the morning and part of the afternoon running errands for the party and doing a little last minute Christmas Shopping.
