      ... staying as long as possible the next morning as the drive to L.A was only a couple of hours. It was agreed that hiring a speed boat was the plan. Having the bikes was cool as there was no worry about having a drink, although the other challenge was we had to have them back before dark as they had no lights!       I continue to wander around some more and decide to try and find the nearby monastery. I had no idea where it was and decided to drive around hoping I'd find it. I spent a couple hours getting myself familiarised with Santa Barbara. As I drive back towards the town centre, I come across signs for the monastery.

      So that's my Hollywood sign story, dude I saw the hiked the Hollywood sign!!!!!!!

      My time in Huntington beach has come to an end, tomorrow I'm riding up with my adopted mom to Santa Barbra, where one of the "bros" is at school. I'll hang out there for the weekend, then off to the redwoods!!!!!!!
