    ... a couple of drinks, we wisely go in search of food. (Harder than you might think). Eventually after much walking through miles of shops and casinos,we manage to find a bar that also sells food. After we eat, we go in search of casino foyers to ogle the displays, but we must be looking in all the wrong places because although they're all lavish, there's nothing we want to see.

    ... big mansion. The castle was left how Hearst left it, and we had a tour of the grand rooms which included bedrooms, games room and dining room. The castle was built in a beautiful location with awesome views of the coastline as it was set on top of a hill. His land included his own zoo, beautiful gardens, tennis courts, cottages and a massive swimming pools. We spent a good few hours wondering around the grounds admiring the different parts and ...

    ... wearing some kind of costume scared the heck out of me. He went ''BOOH'' at my face and I was not expecting that at all. By chance, I am not cardiac because that could have go wrong. Also, I went into a few stores... typical. I essentially only bought souvenirs, which is something that I am pretty proud of me. I could have buy so much more! On that day, I decided to wear my new Converse so at the end of the day, I had a few blisters and wasn't able to walk anymore ...

    ... lobster bisque, Al had clam chowder ..$7 each. Then I had Maine Lobster (1/2) and salad ..$18 ..Alister had prawn and scallop fettuccini ..looked great and tasted great. We walked back ..had a few drinks ..and caught up on the blog. Packing tomorrow morning before heading to LA About 90 miles away.... We have till 9.30pm to get to airport ..so no rush. Sad to think it is all coming to an end ..but will still be good to get back home...see Tara, our dogs and our bed! More news ...
