... I think we stood out as we were the only ones with short sleeves. We had heard about the fantasmic light and water show at 9.45 pm so decided to hang around for that. We got good positions. You had to get fast pass tickets early in the day to get up front or pay extra money but we did fine.
Such as amazing show with jets of water making like white sheets onto which they project images on and the story was about Mickey Mouse fighting off the evil witch ...

Breakfast was a little later today and that gave everyone a chance for another sleep in. With the group refreshed we headed over to Knott's Berry Farm and started on a thrill ride marathon. The boys headed their own way while the girls headed to the biggest ride in the park. While there were a few hesitations and plenty of closed eyes everyone tried out as many of the rides and shows as they could. From the Xlerator to the Boomerang there was plenty ...

... Saw the Waterworld movie stunt show and did a tour of the Universal backlot and sound stages. The girls were impressed that The Voice America was being filmed at the time. Steve got to see the Delorean while Mads got up to close to an Oscar! We watched a special effects show before being picked up for a brief tour of downtown Hollywood at night. Walked on the stars in Hollywood Boulevard ...

... t long until we were all a bit over the shops - particularly me. I kept asking Dad to take me back to the hotel but he said it was the only day in 10 weeks he had been able to look at the shops so I had to stick with it. How boring!

Anyway, we finally finished at about 5:30pm but then we went to this outlet shopping centre. I thought I was going to die but then we went to the Converse store and I got a ...

... it. Staying here 5 nights in a family suite for $785 AU. Booked through booking.com. Happy with the room. Slightly dated but clean, spacious and well located. Kids are having their first ever night in a bunk bed. They're pretty pumped. So much room for activities. It could end badly given that they both sleepwalk, particularly when overtired. Went and had pizza by the slice, US style, for lunch. Evan was as excited as he's been all day ...
