N got a cold as soon as we arrived in LA. Fortunately for us, none of the museums or galleries are open on Tuesday or Wednesday, we arrived on Monday afternoon, so we had a bit of time for a slow start to LA.

... that you can just use all day long like we did. We caught an old fashioned bus first, then we went on a steamboat, " the Mark Twain" , then a train a couple of times. We could have also used a fire truck and a horse and carriage if we wanted to, also we never had to wait long for any of them.

I try very hard not to complain, but I really must get this gripe out of my system.
