... into the future 4 days regardless. Troy was driving and Dusty was the passenger. They looked around age 50, covered in tattoos, probably listened to a lot of ACDC and partied really hard in their day. They talked to me about laws of Colorado and their rough pasts. Unfortunately, Dusty's mother had just passed two days prior, and he was on this roadtrip to get his mind off of things. He was very quiet, but I had a sense that was not unusual for him. Troy is his opposite in many ...

We toured the overlooks in what would have to be called a hurried fashion. This didn’t keep us from taking far too many photos of the spectacular vistas. We ...

... shopping is in Ridgway which is about 15 miles and the nearest serious shopping is in Durango about 70 miles or Montrose which is only about 40 to 50 miles. Told you the area is vast and empty, but oh, it is so beautiful. Told Lynn I could live in any one of those towns as soon as the build a Walmat or Target.

If you can truly see the awesome of God's creation, please leave a comment. Thanks and enjoy.

... canyon. The park protects 14 miles of the total 48 miles the canyon that was carved by the Gunnison River over 2 million years. The trail took us alongside of the top of the canyon, and we could see down the over 2,000 ft drop, and hear the roar of the river even from the top - it was spectacular. We didn’t complete the whole trail since it was late and we wanted to have enough sunlight to cook dinner. Once we were back at the campsite we decided to fix ...
