After a drive down Music Row (the famous area in Nashville that contains most of the record labels, promoters, songwriter associations, and the like), we wandered the aisles of Bass Pro Shop and then returned to the RVs for more excellent food and a movie on DVD. It sure has been wonderful to catch up with Fred and Sharon while we are all on the road on our separate ...
Finally on our own and now the trip begins. The Bluebird Cafe is supposed to be the end-all place to go...while Tom waited on line for 2 1/2 hours, I went shopping (surprised?). The Bluebird was not what we expected so we meandered downtown to the 2nd Ave. strip where we were dazzled by the music and the people. Downtown Nashville is spectacular. Along the way we met two lovely San Franciscans, Nicole and Danielle. Stay tuned for Memphis:)

... and missed it again!!! It was very annoying! But finally I made it to my hotel near Opryland where the Grand Ole Opry is. Unfortunately the Grand Ole Opry wasn't open so I wouldn’t get to see it but that was ok. I had broadway to conquer!
