... Mt. Lemmon is a 25 miles drive from Tucson and rises up to 8300 ft at the restaurant and the ski hill. The top of the ski hill rises up to 9200 ft. The drive up is quite spectacular up, up, up, and around, around, a lot of bicyclists (crazy people) so we had to be careful. On the way we came across a rather nice old Gun and Pawn shop where the owner was making a pair of wooden grips for an antique Smith and Wesson revolver. On the way back to the city we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop which is a bi-level mecca of all things related to the outdoors. They have interactive games and a huge aquarium full of fish that one either thinks is cute or one wants to catch and eat. I've been reading travel blogs and travel ideas for the past months. I'm trying to figure out how to pack for the month of traveling have only what I need, and to fit it all into ONE carry on bag. Of course, for some of the airlines, this carry on bag will need to go into baggage (size, weight). The reality is that I could buy anything I need while traveling, but I don't want that to be my focus!
