Hello! We got home safely yesterday and I was too tired to blog when I got back. So I am typing this now, while I am in bed this morning. I am really glad to be home, but when I woke up I forgot that I was home. When we landed from our 11 hour flight back home, we said our goodbyes to Lynn and Sue, because they had friends picking them up. We took Bart for an hour, then our dad picked us up. I already ...

... out is called Nob Hill, lol) for what felt like hours (and included many breaks for our legs) we ended up on the top of San Francisco. Of course then we realised we had to go back down the hill the other way to get to our hostel, thus rendering the whole climb entirely unnecessary. Excellent. Seattle was completely different from the wilderness we had thoroughly explored in Glacier and Yellowstone National Park. It is a big green city surrounded by forests and water. We walked for what seemed like an eternity – all the food vendors in the food court area had filtered coffee and I wanted a latte. I eventually saw someone heading our way with a Starbucks cup so I went in the direction from which he came and there it was. ...

... about 600mm tall and would not look out of place as a roast dinner.
We jumped on the hop on/off bus for a tour of another part of the city and finally ended up back at the wharf. Jumping in Ethel and setting the on board video, we managed to do a ****** video of a Golden Gate Bridge crossing (stay tuned for the video).
Home and feet up for the evening as we had an early start on Monday... :)
