Winter Trip to California 2012
Our friends LeeDelle and Larry (Kaptain) Kasper from Huntington Beach, CA and Shirley and Larry York from Sierra Vista, AZ have asked us to meet them for an FMCA rally in Indio, California and a visit to Quartzsite, Arizona. The trip has grown from there and we will also visit Lake Havasu, AZ, San Diego, CA and Huntington Beach with them. Stuart and I will also go to Death Valley and make some stops in Texas including ...
Many highlights in & around Silver City
Bethany had recommended we visit the Silver City area and skip Deming because she had spent some time there when hiking the Continental Divide Trail in 2007. The things she told me about it made me think we'd like it also. I made it about half way up when the bike spun out and went down, trapping my left foot under its 600 laden pounds. I was stuck there, with no one around to call out to for help, although I did let out one ...
A little stop at Walmart in Pinetop
Well, we had a little spill and had to stop to get a towel. The clothes were underneith everything crammed in the trunk so it was easier to just buy some shorts for Jack...he needed them anyway. A little setback but we were able to all use the restroom and get a box of cheeze its since we did not pack any car snacks. The training from my mom has failed me! I usually have tons of stuff in a cooler so we don't have to ...
