Awoke to a rainy day. Mid morning Steve drops me off in the town centre, where I am to amuse myself for several hours while he goes back to caravan to study. ... quite colourful. At the end there were huge waves hitting the wall and splashing the walkway so we watched that for a bit and as we were leaving we heard someone shout “dolphins”. Sure enough we saw some dolphins hunting in the waves just out to sea. At first we only saw one or two, but on occasions we saw about 8-10 at once riding the waves and jumping out the water. We are only 240 k's from home. Stopped to see Prue & John and invited to stay for a couple of days, who could resist the queen sized bed and a fabulous view over Town Beach? See pics!

We evan had dinner cooked for us last night, Lona is reciprecating tonight. Prue and I had too much red wine and slept soundly, well Lona suggested this morning that while I slept soundly it was not soundlessly, apparently I snore, didn't hear a thing!! ...

... all went a bit tits up to be frankly honest. After casting out a few times our lines kept getting caught in the coral on the water bed. Chris retrieved his line fine but I had a bit more trouble. The coral was jagged and unpredictable underfoot and after releasing the hook from its rocky trap I began to make my way back to shore. This proved far easier said than done however for my foot slipped ever so slightly on the coral and as if in slow motion I fell backwards. I remember ...

... hostels with too many people around. Here, I think 4 or 5 dorms and that is it! Free wifi, super, and free access to the computers: to sit one has not a chair but a swing that is fixed at the ceiling!

Yesterday I was quite tired, so I quickly was in bed... a little bit of reading and then, asleep! Good thing I have a deaf ear though, because it was "ambiance" here, music and talking and laughter. I wonder what the neighbours think of that ;-) ...
