      Where Everything's Bigger

... Immigration at the Dallas airport was (ironically) the least organized we have seen in our whole year traveling. Hoards of people, confusion, hours in line, and unfriendly faces were our warm welcome back to the USA. We met a famous boxing announcer and spent time chatting until I noticed he was taking (what he thought were) indiscreet photos of me on his phone. I called him out and made him delete ...

... usually I am in search of freedom. I've lived in Austin for nearly 7 month's now and have been feeling cooped up by city life. The trip down to the ocean was a much needed break. Me and Seth rode the motorcycle down here, (about four hours) with just a backpack and a tent, and not a lot of plans. But it all worked out really well. Headed home

Waking up in London was both happy and sad. Happy, because we are going home to see our girls and jump back into our life! Sad, because it was so wonderful to have two weeks together, free from duties or stress. For us to have this adventure was truly a gift that we will not take for granted. It has reminded us that we are adventurers at heart. The beauty of the greek islands will stay with us as we return to Austin.

      ... think about it!

Bill: We have played golf four times now. This time we found the Palmilla Beach Golf Club, a new resort course just near the Mustang Island State Park where we stayed this week. This round was a special treat—ocean side views, rolling sand dunes, and we both played great. The Head Pro was very accommodating, the course was immaculate, the staff knowledgeable and informative, and I only lost one golf ball.

... where he could play in the sand. It was very crowded so I suggested that we return to the campground and go to the beach area where it hopefully would be less crowded, so I called Bob to pick us up and we started walking to the rendezvous area. We walked on one of the boardwalks which led to a hotel area. As we walked to the entrance road, I spotted a security guard and asked him the way out to the road. All he was interested ...
