... on the secondary highways allowed for beautiful scenery. Ryder was in absolute heaven seeing all of the potatoes growing in the fields!

After the Pallisades dam we stopped in Alpine, WY. to fill up the truck and stretch our legs. Next up - Auburn. When we chose Auburn as a name I knew that it was small but I didn’t realize just how small it actually is, population 225. It was so ...

We left Wendover at the Nevada border and Colleen drove the requisite 100 miles to breakfast. The drive took us through the Bonneville Salt Flats to just west of Salt Lake City. Colleen is still not totally comfortable driving, so this was the perfect time for her to practice. The road was flat, straight and there was no ...

The trip has actually begun. After packing up camp, we headed towards west Wyoming to see the 2nd largest moving sand dunes. Ok, what does that mean? Not sure, but it sounds cool. That meant another 4 hour drive with you know who. So, while tyrannosaurs Rex made a couple appearances, the comedy was trying to keep the jeep on the road while Alex screemed Moooo at all the cows. They would just look up at us as we passed and ...
