    ... the Great Plains were golden brown with wheat stubble, grasses, and sandstone lumpy hills. Some cattle. Wonderful herds of brown & white antelopes ("more antelopes than people in Wyoming" according to a Rest Stop attendant).     Although my goal is to travel without deadlines, I needed to make tracks across Nebraska and Wyoming to have dinner with my brother Richard.     Today is a long drive day. We started with a shared favorite - Cracker Barrel for a good breakfast. The Dickinson family introduced to Cracker Barrel on our first visit to Nashville and we have enjoyed its consistency on many of our road trips.
