... amazement and gasps of pure astonishment as you take this claim in!!! Anyway, we set off on our journey onwards and upwards. The suburban roads gave way to a track which climbed at a surprisingly gentle incline through the deciduous woodlands and up to the peak. There, we were greeted by the more less ambitious tourists and locals who had driven their cars up in the normal way. There sure enough was the star, looking even more tacky from ...

... legs. It was a pretty uneventful if not a tiring journey, being Sunday most of the population seemed to be returning home after spending the weekend in the great outdoors, fishing, hunting and boating, or so it seemed. Although there are numerous warnings here from the police about speeding, including spotter planes, the average American takes no notice whatsoever. The speed ...

What a great day hanging out in this city!!!

    • Breakfast a local diner.
    • Discovered "City Place", my fav cafe here - "BNG South".
    • Drove around the Biltmore Estates - didn't see the house, as that's a full-day, $100 venture...very impressive.
    • Found a Whole Foods market for my juice!
    • Went for a massage.
    • Walked around all day/night exploring the city; was gonna rent ...
