This morning we got up at 6, packed up the car, dropped the dogs off at doggie daycare and drove 3.5 hours to Fort Lauderdale. We got on the ship around noon. ... bedroom compared to a loud airport) and I almost missed the stupid plane... We landed.....Then began my 15 hour lay over here in the ft. Lauderdale airport.... I don't like Florida airports.... Their carpets smell like cat pee because of the humidity.... Get rid of the stupid carpet! You would think I would be an expert at sleeping in airports... I am not. I found my way to my interior cabin, 9159, on Deck 9 near the rear (aft) stairs and elevators. My first impression was positive. This cabin seems more spacious than the one I had aboard my last ship, Norwegian Epic.
