    ... yet so we decided to wait instead of going back out in the pouring rain. We waited for about 40 minutes and the guy behind the counter apologized for the delay and then we got offered a free upgrade for being so patient. We ended up with a Dodge Grand Caravan, the ideal soccer mum car,

    ... with the 'plastic bags'! With it being wet, on rainy days Universal Studios put on complimentary hot drinks, like hot chocolate and coffe, plus give out free poncho raincoats. We enjoyed a hot beverage with Dhrek and Princess Fiona, which warmed us up!

    ... and even blinked his eyes! Next was "It's a Small World", one of those ones you have to go on just to say that you've been on it.Thankfully, the little cruise through on the boat mostly included Christmas carols, so the song didn't even get stuck in my head. It included mostly light shows and dancing dolls from around the world, and it was actually quite long too - No wonder the line was massive.     ... hours of the trip. We arrived at about 7:30pm LA time. The shuttle picked us up and it was an hour drive out to Anaheim to our hotel. The Anabella Hotel where we are staying, is a five minute walk away from Disneyland, so we can see the lights and a few coasters over the fence across the street from the hotel lobby.     ... so we only used one fast pass today.

    Our first ride was the Indiana Jones ride. We hadn’t done any research on this ride so had no idea what we were getting on. The sign said "Off road high speed turbulent adventure over rough and rugged terrain that includes sharp turns and sudden drops!" It was great we loved it, although Aaron didn’t think he needed to go on it again.
