Now Qualicum Beach, old people, and a beach that remembered me on a graveyard. Quiet, a handful of tousrists were walking along the shore. Nothing special at all. We just hung around in the resort, went to the hottub and the swimming pool.

We have just spent a few days staying with my friend Candy on Vancouver Island. It was lovely to see her and to have some girly chats, and I think Tim enjoyed some respite from my constant chatter. We stayed at her parents house and got looked after so well - lovely breakfasts (including blueberry pancakes!) and our own self-contained rooms to stay in. Thanks so much Candy and your family.
