... Colorado river drove into Laughlin which is like a mini Vegas. We had heard it was very cheap to stay here.....I nearly fell over when the receptionist told me it would cost £24.64 for the room....might have to stay here about three nights! There is a river cruise on a steamer and use of a water taxi at a very reasonable price which will take us up the river so we may explore other areas. The hotel is just on the Colorado and has its own beach, so we just had to dip our toes into ...

... singing "We are the Champions" by Queen, "Son of Man" by Phil Collins from the Tarzan Soundtrack, and "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson, we arrived at our hotel. Its funny because the hotels keep getting sketchier the longer we are on the road. Luckily we arrive at Providence Christian College tomorrow. PCC will be my home for the next few months and I'm excited for it all to begin.

I bid thee farewell,

We had a lovely 2 nights there, in more comfortable lodge accommodation, watching the sun rises (about -5 ...

... had to give the car back the next morning. The hard bit about giving it back was sorting out all the stuff we had accumulated over the past 3 weeks...t-shirts, postcards, iced tea and half-full cartons of Pringles were carted out and stuffed (and I mean stuffed) into our backpacks. Finally it was empty and relatively clean, so we celebrated with a huge portion if pancakes for brunch before we hit the road for the last time...or at least until we got the next ...

... the dam the areas are more populated along the river. We cannot figure out if peak season has just passed or is coming up as many places look so deserted. There are a couple state parks that look lovely. We might just hit a state park when we leave Laughlin.

Visited Lake Havasu City and saw the London Bridge and walked and then drove across it and touched the bricks that were from 1831. Amazing really.
