... Arizona and get off the interstate.
After a quick subway stop off the Seligman exit, we got on old historic route 66, which was about an hour or so long detour that was well worth it. There were so many amazing things about this drive, I could spend a lot of time talking about it, but its something that everyone should experience. ... of you don't get it) and were able to check in early, but the water was off in the whole hotel which was a bit disappointing given the state of filth we were in. Fortunately that didn't last long and we were finally able to shower and then nap.

Later, back out into the furnace for a good Mexican restaurant found through TripAdvisor and then a Sonic desert (it does not take much to make us happy).
