Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg the amusement and adventureland of Tennessee. Never seen so many different mini golf courses, go cart tracks, and other attractions lining a main city street. These places are alive with tourists and cause major traffic jams. Don't travel on fridays we learnt.

He had went out to see if he could find out any information on the different hikes and where they are. Last night when he went to get a toothbrush from the shop he spoke to a woman who told us the hike we were plannin on doing was a 12 hour round trip. This should be a little less as she was a true 'murcan and had the weight to back it up. When he got back from checkin out the hikes ...

Got up for breakfast again for 8:30 am. Enjoyed a visit with Bruce & Marty & an older couple from Kalabash, South Carolina. Marty & Bruce had been staying in the carriage house & invited us to come over & see it. What a lovely place to stay. They were all packed up, so we exchanged emails etc & said our goodbyes as they are headed out today to visit family nearby. We headed out at about 11:00 am to Asheville on the Blue ridge parkway heading north this time. ...
