    From Killington I headed to New Hampshire to see some old
    friends of mine, Bob and Susan. Bob is currently teaching economics on a
    contract at University of New Hampshire, so I thought I’d stop by and visit while
    in northern New England. It doesn’t take all that long to get to Durham from

    ... the store with the biggest candy counter and then Schilling Brewery overlooking the river for dinner and brews. Fabulous beer and food. We walked the covered bridge after dinner and took more pics. Great fun.  Jacuzzi tonight for some achey legs after the climb. JD was even too pooped for that. He stayed home and dozed with the TV.
