So far our weather has been wonderful, with just a few scattered rain showers here and there. We ended our day in northern Florida and will hit the Carolina's tomorrow. ... way back to our hotel. We had dinner and drinks and The Smoking Tuna and listen to some great live music. They have a web cam always on the stage, so if you want a little taste of Key West, Google Smoking Tuna and enjoy a little of Key West. A second Treaty of Paris (1783), which gave America's colonies north of Florida their independence, returned Florida to Spain, a reward for Spanish assistance to the Americans in their war against England. Upon their return, the Spanish in 1784 found that St. Augustine had changed. Settlers from a failed colony ...

We finally made it to Florida, a long trip for such a short distance, something I am still getting use to. We made our way to the entrance into St. Augustine and grabbed a mooring ball at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. We will stay here for the first two nights and then decide if we want to head over to the Marina Centre. St. Augustine is an old city, with the Spanish landing here in the 1500s and there are many ...
