Decided to walk the causeway to Clearwater beach for our exercise of the day. We tend to walk the beach out there a few times a week so thought it might be fun...Tour boats and recreational boats are just heading out ...At noon when we head back to Dunedin the entire mile and a half of the causeway is backed up with people driving over to the beach...and trying to find parking...Sunday ...
Our destination Monday was to travel into Tampa Bay for an evening hockey game. Left our apt. By 2pm and found ourselves in the heart of downtown very quickly so made a quick decision to hike over to the TB History center . It was wonderfully informative on the history and settling of the city and the surrounding area. The Indians were here when the first invasions from the Spanish occurred in the 1500 s and still much later ...
... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.

Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.

They may have some pots with pretty flowers in them, but no ornamental shrubbery, trees, or grass (even at the more expensive looking homes). ...
... Chi Minh City in the South and Hanoi in the North. Even through it is one country now, you still get the impression it is two different worlds. The Communist influence seems far greater in the North. Ho Chi Minh City seems much more progressive. Our visit to Danang was good. We had the choice of going to the ancient capital of the country, Hue, to the north, or Hoi An, to the south. With just one day there just wasn't time to do both. We chose Hoi An and weren't disappointed.
