    ... from a farmer's yard, we stopped. We found some fresh steelhead at Costco, (of course, it was enough for several meals.) and bought it for dinner. John cooked it on our little grill and the whole meal was delicious. After dinner, we walked down to Edna Lake at the Nisswa Resort to watch the sunset. It is still warm in the evenings in the Midwest, which makes them quite pleasant.

    Last night we stayed at the Porcupine Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon, MI. Had a site right on Lake Superior. Arrived just before it stormed. Lots of people camping in tents and there we were sitting in our motor home nice and dry watching a movie and eating popcorn! Too bad for the rain, we were hoping to see the Northern Lights.

    ... was full of singing and dancing and storytelling. Leah and I keyed in on Micah and Zola’s Spanish voices during the songs, and our hearts swelled with pride.     Covered 4 states today. Stopped in Memphis at Mud Island and took a walk down Beale street. Stopped by Graceland. Ran thru Mississippi. On to Huntsville. 305 miles today. Over 1400 miles so far. Highlights: "Walking in Memphis, walking with my feet 10 feet off of Beale" as the song goes. Some really cool stuff there. Reminds me of New Orleans...the smell anyway...
