The drive from Gatlinburg to Bryson City was absolutely stunning as it took us through the heart of the Smokey Mountains into North Carolina. On our way to Bryson City we stopped off in the nearby town of Cherokee and looked around the museum learning about the plight of the Cherokee Indians and the Trail Of Tears, very interesting indeed.

Along with babbling brooks and waterfalls it all comes together as one beautiful park. My luck ran out a little here since fog and low clouds denied me some views but I will return to see the leaves change ...

Yesterday, before leaving Nashville, we had to check out the number one activity on Trip Advisor - the Escape Game. Not I have to admit, it read a little strange. The basic concept was that you were locked in a room for an hour and you had to escape by solving puzzles and clues. We were intrigued. So, with such a long drive ahead of us to the Smoky Mountains, we booked on the early slot. When we arrived, we were treated by a girl who gave us a few rules ...
