The drive from Gatlinburg to Bryson City was absolutely stunning as it took us through the heart of the Smokey Mountains into North Carolina. On our way to Bryson City we stopped off in the nearby town of Cherokee and looked around the museum learning about the plight of the Cherokee Indians and the Trail Of Tears, very interesting indeed.

Dollywood was fantastic, didn't ride any of the amusement park rides as plenty to see and do with all the live theatre performances. Appears a different age group come here to Orlando's Universal Studios. Old and grey whom love country music.

The running joke about mcdonalds got told one last time since there was one next door to the motel (obviously). What made it funnier though was kaleb and adam both went to get something from there before bed even though it was near enough 2am. They both came back empty handed and gutted that McDonalds system was down and they couldnt get their chicken ...

Everybody in our riding group loved it!

About ten miles later after the road had gone back to "normal", Dutch Paul who was following me noticed my back tyre was showing the cords in the very centre of the tyre - panic!!! And the thought running through my mind was - have I just done the Dragon's Tail with my ...
