For some reason, I woke up this morning feeling $1,000,000. As I wasn't hungover we decided to head to one of the local tourist attractions in Ottawa, Hogs back falls. It is kind of natural, kind of man made waterfall, who's flow is controlled by the level of the Ottawa river. We arrived on a day that was full of water.

There were a lot of people there. It was a beautiful day so why not. We ...

... path sufficiently. I was right about the latter but wrong about the former, at least in Toulouse. After some nervous moments worrying about the state of those I was sharing the road with, I reached the path to Blagnac, where I discovered there was absolutely no street activity of any sort but where the rain intensified. I think I've seen a similar wallpaper somewhere.) entitled "Voice of Fire", which my guidebook tells me cost $1.76 million dollars in what must have been a scam auction. The Canadian Museum of History is on the other side of the Ottawa River, in French Gatineau. What I particularly liked about this ...

... Wow! They were so happy leaving for the airport with Uncle Robert and Nonno.

Mom and Dad have returned looking great, happy and the Bradford Family has reunited. There are big smiles on everyone's faces. Ruby did not let Jessica out of her sight. We all enjoyed hearing of the adventures on their holidays including all of the good food stories.

Speaking of good food we had another great night at the Granatas; Carrie has fed us so well. We are very spoiled.

I have been an avid watcher of aurora alerts from Tasmania to see if i could catch one in western Australia which has led to me following some of the Canadian, Alaskan and Icelandic alerts too. This worked in my favour tonight as insane reports and photos were coming in from as far south as Germany. I took this as a sign to make my way north far far away from Ottawa's city lights. I checked a dark sky locator and found a spot right next to Nats cottage ...
