... came on softest setting so increased Mark's to 5 and mine to 4.
Increased rebound from 50% to 95%.
this really helped especially with the luggage and weight we are carrying. Mark suggested a smaller front sprocket but maybe a couple of teeth less on back would be better. maybe something to look into when the trail gets tougher.

I showered and then the town chiropractor was offering free adjustments for all the riders. So off I went. After that we had a fantastic dinner- home cooked by local residents. ... Martin Methodist College were kind enough to shuttle our riders the 92 MILES to the next site! Unbelievable!!
Before the shuttles could get us, though, we had time to follow through with a plan our group had days back, involving roster pictures and the official NC2SD Bike & Build website. It was. Everything. Best idea ever.

Today's 76-mile ride was relatively uneventful mostly because 70 of it was on the same highway. However, Carlee, Hannah, and I broke up the ride with some nice long talks about politics, favorite things, and some other zesty topics. Later, Alicia joined us and we stopped at Prichard's distillery to learn about how they make rum in Tennessee. The woman was really nice and gave us a tour of the ...
... shop. The building is still there and has been surrounded in controversy ever since. The Sons of the Confederacy organisation put a plaque up in 1904 to celebrate the founding. The current owner has kept the plaque to placate some extremists, but he has screwed it to the wall back to front, so it can't be read.
Had a really nice coffee in a low key cafe and chatted to some locals. Their accent is very extreme and difficult to understand....
