    ... several RV sites, and this bunch of redneck yahoos have to park next to us. The kids unload and immediately start arguing, the dogs start to run around and then they start to discuss when "the others" are getting here…. this does not bode well. eventually, The Others arrive and make a pigs ear of parking their equally vast trailer, taking out several small trees and ploughing up most of the road in their attempts to do so.     ... book; Ken finished a Jane Austen book. We watched ocean waves come in, walked the beach and watched the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Doesn't get much better than that.

    ... the RV & car in tow and headed to Van Nuys. We left the RV at the generator repair shop. Dori & Nubi took us out to lunch at The Sixth. We got back to the RV around 4 PM. Dex and the repairman worked on installing the the generator until after 8PM. We arrived back to the campground in Ventura around 9:45 PM, tired, hungry and our bank account much lighter. At least we can get back on the road again now!

    ... and watched a 40 minute movie on how the castle was designed and built. There was some great old footage. I left Hearst Castle and had to pull over almost immediately as I spotted 3 zebras on the side of the road.
