Today is the last day of a week in Foley, AL while at the Florida Travelcade Club rally. It has been a fun week with good friends and lots of food and drinks. ... and went for a walk on the beach. Crowded campsites are not fun at all. The sand is like raw cane sugar. Very glassy and white, almost like snow. It squeaks under your feet, so of course I was playing in that for a while, squeaking along the beach :-) I did not go for a swim though - the water was cold! Fort Pickens was next door, so after soaking in some sun and sticking our toes in the water - we went to explore the fort. Quite eerie really, and surprisingly ...

The shrimp was good except we had to peel and devein every one of the little buggers! Lesson #5: Remember the adaqe ''You get what you pay for''. We worked for our dinner that night!

... fun. We went to Lil's school concert ( she is 20 mths) It was really sweet and funny . This weekend the Hangout music festival is on at the beach just down the road from here It's apparently 'huge' ! We,ll be checking it out but not going as tickets are $300!
Debbie and Tim are going to join me in London for a week! Soooo excited!!
