... I felt like I had stepped back in time. There were no other houses, cars or people in sight only lots of lovely animals. The dog Deuce and goat came up to the verandah to greet us and Freddie was immediately entertained...thank God! The donkeys, horses, goats and sheep all came to the fence to be fed every evening. It was so nice to see the kids enjoy really simple things such as feeding the animals. Freddie I think could even make a good farmer! We decided to check out ...

... price. Funny thing is, the senior price was also $13.00. The lady at the register was a bit snippy at first and when I said I was a senior and Cheryl wasn’t, she asked which discount I wanted to use. ... much to my relief. We buy a Pecan pie! Every time, there is no pie to bring home. That means that people like it! Whew! Reaching our destination of Alabama Gulf Shores Zoo we were a little disappointed. It was raining. Mud puddles everywhere in the parking lot. But inside the zoo it was fantastic. The only thing not available to us was the Reptile Encounters and I was personally ok with it.
