... hike on Valentine's Day (also our anniversary 8 yrs!), we had an absolutely scrumptious meal there. Such a treat! Enjoy the pictures of Big Bend National Park and then make your own plans to get there someday. It's fabulous. In some of the pictures you may have to look closely to find Shane and/or me. We pale in comparison to the massive rocks and canyon walls. As I type we are back in civilization, alas, ...

... Thursday: today we crossed over into Texas shortly after leaving Vinton and drove as far as Rockport TX - stayed the Sandollar resort. We set up and headed out for a bite to eat. It's definitely warmer here - don't need the extra blanket:) Friday: We packed up and hooked up so we were ready to leave.    A nice Passport America park - full hookups, drive thru sites, and a continental breakfast every morning that includes fresh-made Texas-shaped waffles, as well as biscuits and gravy, bagels, and lots of other good stuff!    Laundry was small, but very clean, and only $1/wash/dry.  A good place to get all caught ...

... the past, mainly lack of one and maybe hard hearted, but that's another story. We pulled off the super slab and went into a truck stop to sit a spell.
