We ended up in Mason, TX at a City Park campground, it was full but they allowed us to dry camp for $10. They also have a benefit rodeo going on for some youngster who has cancer so it is a busy place but we are thankful to have a place to park. We have the generator running and we are watching Madam Secretary. Life is good!

Mmmmmmmmm We stopped for ice and lo and behold....Dublin Dr Peppers! In honor of my sister, Kathy, we bought one for everybody. For those unversed in Dr Pepper language, Dublin Dr Pepper's are made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup and are only available in and around Dublin, ...

People may knock small towns but those are people who obviouslyhaven't lived in one. Y'all are amazing and we can't thank you enough. Update: Stopped by the cops on the way....our luck precedes us once again ...

... Records museum. After a quick, yet thorough walk through at the Alamo we took a tour on the river and got a good deal of information about the history of San Antonio and finished up in time to check out and move on toward Austin.
On the way down to San Antonio we passed a huge sign that said SNAKE FARM and we decided to stop by on our way back north. The "farm"" had an extensive collection of snakes from all over ...
