... Records museum. After a quick, yet thorough walk through at the Alamo we took a tour on the river and got a good deal of information about the history of San Antonio and finished up in time to check out and move on toward Austin.
On the way down to San Antonio we passed a huge sign that said SNAKE FARM and we decided to stop by on our way back north. The "farm"" had an extensive collection of snakes from all over ...

... conversation about where we’d come from and what we’d been doing. When we were dithering about trying the catfish, she told us she would get us a sample to try before we ordered – and came out a few minutes later with a whole fillet of catfish plus some pinto beans (which Fred had been asking about) for us to try. The catfish was delicious so we both ordered it for lunch.
