      ... and ended up walking past halfway before we finally found got on the bus.

      Just on sunset we walked onto Venice Beach. It was very spectacular and the gorgeous houses along the beach would love this view every day. Many people were enjoying the evening, either walking their dogs, cycling or jogging. The beach was also dotted with couples watching the romantic setting.

      ... a side street for lunch. Lunch at Riccio's was a delicious Italian meal with a great chocolate mousse cake for dessert.

      After lunch we went for a stroll down the main shopping street of Palm Springs to look at a whole lot of things we neither wanted nor could afford. In one shop they were having a psychic open day where you could meet and chat with the psychics for no charge, just a bit of loving!

      ... it's damned good TV - before finally heading up to check out the Hollywood sign. Sadly I'd left it a little late so by the time I got there it was dark. Missed again! Well, again, next time! Promise! When I eventually get back to the hostel there's yet another pub crawl on, so we head out once more - my last in LA for the foreseeable future - to have more fun.       ... and the portions are gigantic. Adam Richman from MVF did a challenge for hot stuff...1 - mile 7 - crazy hot. I chose 4. Delicious. Couldn't finish it all. Got out of the area quickly as the Dodger - Cardinal game was about to start and the traffic was building.
