    ... and take some time to figure out. Putting in the large floating dock sections takes everyone first-thing on Saturday. Once in the water, a crew of 3 or 4 can handle putting the sections together while everyone else fans out to their assigned work spaces. Throughout the day a golf cart with water and snacks travels around from worksite to worksite, as does Christie, Ben's wife, with their new addition, Abigail, age 8 months.

    ... a room divider, and kept the windows cracked. My feet... whew. I even febreeze'd them for the sake of breathing........... :) Made it to Lake Saranac and Lake Placid.     One a trip organized by the Mount Holyoke Outing club, I climbed my first hike ever! Day one we climbed Owls peak, approximately a 4 hours hike. Day 2, we climbed Mt. Phelps (the 36th/46th highest peaks in the Adirondacks) took almost 8-9 hours. It was certainly worth the view at the top, more so at Owls Peak due to the foliage. Although, Mount Phelps truly felt like an accomplishment with it being such an excruciating and long hike. ...

    3 - We were good little consumers and helped stimulate the economy of Lake Placid a little:)We walked around the main street of Lake Placid and popped into various shops, perusing their wares, playing with kids' toys, me touching every soft-looking article of clothing, and really just passing the time.

    ... NY....there are no beers involved, just nature) and did a few climbs. It is always interesting to see how climbs are in different places and man, the grades that are given to the climbs here are definitely sandbagged (they are harder than they are graded).
