Enough winter experience in Ottawa so don't need even more. For us the reason to go there, was to climb the 46 peaks. Each of these 46 peaks is to be 4000 feet or more in altitude. Early night and up the next day to go skiing at Whiteface. The next morning we walked upto the main street. Sooooo pretty, a couple of inches of snow on everything, all the houses looked spectacular with their broad decks and Christmas wreaths. At the centre of the town is a huge lake, maybe 1km across that is frozen and people were ice skating and dog sledding across it.

We are up early again, the weather's looking good, fingers are crossed that our flight is still on. When we arrive at the airport there are other people at the Cape Air check-in counter and it's all systems go, woohoo!

Our flight gets called up and we head out onto the tarmac to get on board the 9 seat Cessna. Jay is last on board and the only seat left is next to the pilot, he couldn't have planned it better. The flight was quite smooth, only during the take-off and landing ...
