Since we made it to Memphis early we decided to go to Beale Street and enjoy the afternoon. Beale Street reminds us of Bourbon street and was fun to visit. Lots of music and places to have a cold one and grab some great ribs. There is much more to see when you are down there like the Peabody Hotel, you can watch the ducks walk on the red carpet and take the trolley to the riverfront. Apparently, she got through to round 4 of a recent American Idol, but was "let go" because she didn't move her hands enough!! Who cares..she can really play and sing without bells and whistles. It was also a jam night so Max and others got to get up and play. :)
