    Best motel experience

My best motel experience so far in the USA, much better than others. The room feels new and smells good. Clean toilet, walls, carpet, linen. Everything works, and there's even a pool which looks clean enough to use. No hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Oddly enough you don't see much transit activity anywhere down here...seems to be very much a car culture with everyone driving and very little carpooling it seems..

... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.

Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.

Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.

As it was our last breakfast I decided to push the boat out and order steak, eggs and fried potatoes with homemade raisin bread and stewed apples - yummy; Di had homemade cornbeef hash with eggs, we both agreed it was a fitting end to a fantastic holiday.
