My best motel experience so far in the USA, much better than others. The room feels new and smells good. Clean toilet, walls, carpet, linen. Everything works, and there's even a pool which looks clean enough to use. No hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

With all this time on our hands, I found myself thinking about our country, the countries we'd just visited and specifically the people in them.  We had many conversations with many different people about all of the respective countries, people running them and what the future might hold. I suppose that since we were ...

After a super simple flight from Portsmouth NH, we landed in Tampa early to meet my old friend Vassilis Venakides (Alex to his American friends).

Immediately welcomed by Vassilis' fiance Jaylene who had rustled up some delicious salmon and pasta.

After a moment to relax, we headed out to a beautiful bar 5mins down the road called 'Whiskey Joe's' where we had drinks at a beach bar and then dinner overlooking ...

The downtown infrastructure was truly remarkable, ports and coastlines galore including a rather quaint and beautiful university. After touring around Tampa we headed to the neighboring city of St. Petersburg where Tropicana Field is located (home of the Tampa Bay ...

Our room was very spacious. and so was the balcony. There were 2 regular chairs, and a small cocktail type table, as well as 2 loungers on that balcony...score for us!
