... to see recycling bins around the campground. We rarely found one in the US. Auburn was horrified that we had to throw cans and bottles out.

Later, I got my bitt kicked at “Uno” so I sent the kids to bed!

... the time they were folded down into uncomfortable seats. It didn’t matter as we spent all our time in the dining car, eating or up the back in the dome cars, talking. The train was full of travellers and travellers always have a story to tell. Everyone was going somewhere and until we reached Jasper and all the tourists got on we had a select crowd of Canadians and Americans.

A nice little story there to illustrate the fact that Canada is huge, and you really notice that when you're on a train for two nights like I was, and to prove that at some point this month I was in Winnipeg. I realise I've been a bit slack with the blogging recently but, to be perfectly honest, I've been doing other things.
