    ... thing.

It's all so overblown. In the atrium/reception areas all the comfortable chairs and sofas are so far apart that intimate conversation is impossible, you'd have to shout to get yourself heard. And walking from one end of the lobby to the other took an age, and getting to the restaurant, which need not have been that far, was that far.

As we expected, Bryn had a terrific time during team bonding. What a great group of people! Of course, during their outdoor scavenger hunt, the rain literally poured down in sheets. Oh my. They were wet but happy. And then, just as quickly as it came, the storm ...

Today was the last day our Disney tickets were valid and we hadn't been to Typhoon Lagoon, so, despite the weather not being as warm as I'd have liked we headed there for as close to 10am as we could manage.

My first stop was the shop, my rashie had stretched to the stage that my first dip in ...

A year ago, I was with some ladies who travel a lot. They were discussing the pros and cons of traveling to Africa for a photo safari. Some were reluctant to go for a variety of reasons ... too far, too scared, yada yada. I suggested that if they weren't going to go, the next best thing was Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, with a room in a ...
