We ran into so much traffic and tie ups that it probably delayed us at least an hour or two today. It was very frustrating. Most of it was due to construction. We were hoping to make it to Rockport, ME tonight, but didn't want to ...

Our drive from to Windsor Locks, CT was relatively short, but as always, we took the scenic route on two lane roads through update New York and into The Berkshires in Massachusetts. The scenery was just beautiful and we had a beautiful day as well. We were looking for something to do on the way and saw a billboard for the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. Everyone knows of Rockwell and his ...

    Borders banks and burgers

A travel blog entry by whiteburns on Jul 20, 2015

This morning we woke to the sound of another down pour. But we knew we had the border crossing ahead of us so there was no time to waste. We wanted to get there early as we didn't know what the line up on a Monday morning would look like. It was toast for everyone this morning and then piling into the car.
