Jestli do konce zimy ještě pořádně nezaprší a na horách nezasněží, bude to mít Kalifornie přes následující léto velmi složité. At about 6:40am I was waiting at the gate to board my American Airlines flight to LAX at 7am. Found out the flight had been cancelled. No reason was offered. SO, myself and 50 other passengers had to schlep our way down to the baggage terminal, get our luggage and then go back up to the ticketing agents.

Getting through southern Oregon is a constant climb towards Grants Pass (4310 ft elevation) with several other summits along the way. Seems like we were always in a deep canyon, going through a pass or cresting a summit - everyone was shrouded in cloud. Some of the descents are 7 degree grades and 7 miles long with lots of sharp curves - we saw one flipped semi that was completely burnt up.
