... that dot eastern Quebec, many of which were settled when Quebec still belonged to France and which have a strong French flavor to them. Very nice ride with lots of beautiful little towns with wonderful and well maintained old buildings. The only down side is that the speed limits of most of these town are 40 kph, so it is slow going to get 200 miles or so through them. We stayed the path, in spite of getting mis-directed ...

The Saint Lawrence River was incredible to see too & of course, I had to go in!! Amazing experience with children & young people running around me speaking French!!
