This morning I checked out of the YWCA and pushed the few blocks to the city's central station. I'm glad I had cased the joint yesterday because it masquerades as a car park, with no obvious pedestrian entrance from the surface.
I had half-an-hour to wait in the business lounge before boarding the train. I had been able to break from my generally low-budget approach to this trip ...
... that dot eastern Quebec, many of which were settled when Quebec still belonged to France and which have a strong French flavor to them. Very nice ride with lots of beautiful little towns with wonderful and well maintained old buildings. The only down side is that the speed limits of most of these town are 40 kph, so it is slow going to get 200 miles or so through them. We stayed the path, in spite of getting mis-directed ...
... that day. Lots of French shoulder shrugging then occurred and we quickly realised that we had no alternative but to pay up. We even tried to show them the photo that we had taken showing that the post with the correct number was completely hidden from view. We had the ticket we had bought showing 08 instead of 09 but there was little interest in this either.

Joanne's sister dropped in for a visit for a little bit - enjoying lunch with us all.
It was a nice relaxing day. We mainly just chilled around the pool and chatted.
I did go for a couple of walks though - once with Frederick and another time with Joanne. Near the end of the visit, I took the kids to a nearby school and played with them on the playground equipment.
All in all, we had a wonderful day... Family is Great!!!
It was our first time seeing little William who is a little charmer and the newest little family member Theo - only 4 months old! The young girls 14 and 12 are such pretty young things. We shared a lunch with them all in Cornwall before heading across the US border into upper New York ...
