... I can now understand why the guard wanted to strap down my wheelchair; not just in case Transport Canada inspectors boarded the train to check he was following the rules, but also the risk that it would otherwise be bouncing off the walls.

The journey to Toronto should take five hours, but it may not be as direct is I would hope because we'll go through Cornwall, Brighton & ...

... GPS several times and finally crossed over in to the US in Vermont at Swanton. We then turned west and made for Malone, NY and our hotel for the night. We arrived at 730 pm local time, still before it got dark but late enough to cause some concern on our part about deer in the fields on the way in. ... Good for her. :)

Joanne's sister dropped in for a visit for a little bit - enjoying lunch with us all.

It was a nice relaxing day. We mainly just chilled around the pool and chatted.

I did go for a couple of walks though - once with Frederick and another time with Joanne. Near the end of the visit, I took the kids to a nearby school and played with them on the playground equipment.

All in all, we had a wonderful day... Family is Great!!!

... construction. Our GPS took us to a particular area and we then discovered the road Closed due to road maintenance and construction! Rats! Oh a detour and then we were on our way once again heading towards Cornwall to meet up with nephew Michael and his lovely wife Sylvie and their 4 kids. Trinity, Sienna, William and wee ...
