This morning I checked out of the YWCA and pushed the few blocks to the city's central station. I'm glad I had cased the joint yesterday because it masquerades as a car park, with no obvious pedestrian entrance from the surface.

I had half-an-hour to wait in the business lounge before boarding the train. I had been able to break from my generally low-budget approach to this trip ...

This morning we are saying good bye to Yolande and Steve in Wakefield and we are "on the road" once again. Had a cuppa with. Yoll as she headed off to work and then packed up the car and said our farewells to Steve and the beautiful Gatineau hills.

We set out in a very heavy rain as we made our way thru Ottawa and ...

... jobs and projects on the go.

My main job while I'm at the farm is to sort the dried garlic - looking for bulbs which are sprouting and will have to be used for planting - and tidying up the garlic ready for market. I also have the chance to go along to a farmer's market in st Anne de Bellevue. A great excuse to check out the other stalls and explore the little town.

I also get the chance to dust off my driving skills ...
