... point. It's been a very hard week, and seeing his little face walk away from me was crushing.

We stopped for brunch at a great little restaurant called "The Vegan Joint". Phil's burrito wasn't anything spectacular, but Alices "omelette" was quite good!

The drive was nice and sunny, we went along the 101 and up the 1.

We're stopping in at a friends house in Atascadero, ca. I'm sure lots of alcohol will be consumed. Again.

We needed to make a pit stop for the 1 o'clock kick off were USA almost took home a victory over Portugal. A 2-2 draw was nothing to be shameful of. We were fortunate to see this game in a fun funky spot know as Ragged Point. Not only was there live music but a BBQ to boot.

We had planned to visit what Hearst always called the ranch but the wind changed in the middle of the night and blew into the bay from the SW. Sleeping was a challenge as the boat rolled side to side. Imagine trying to ...

She got the champagne cake and I got the strawberry of course. :) we were miserable by the end of it!! Our last stop for the day was Forever 21. I know it sounds cheesy but this is something I look forward to all year. It's a tradition for us. The store is in an old JCPenney type building so it is HUGE!!! It takes forever to get through it and by the ...
