... lizards who would jump out of the way and scurry across the rocks only to dive behind one out of sight. Birds were singing their lovely tune hopping along the rocks and flying between them and the few shrubs along the way. Harris ground squirrels popped out seemingly from no where, startling me and making me jump...which wasn't a good thing on the face of a mountainside! ... in the world. It was also cool to learn about some of the amazing conservation work the Park was conducting globally. At the Park, they had two of the remaining seven rhinos from a species that was critically endangered. As well as that, they had been protecting a species of bird since the 1980's. Back then, there were only 22 left in the world. Now, thanks to the work of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, there are over 400! The ...

... Diego Harbour where we saw the USS Midway who h has been turned into a museum. We could of gotten off to explore but we wanted to do the round trip. We continued on our trolley and went past the Horton Plaza Shopping Centre, Gaslamp Quarter, we also went over the San Diego/Coronado Bay Bridge, up to the Zoo and back to Old Town where we started from. Going over San Diego/Coronado Bay Bridge was an experience, as we sat eight at the back of the trolley ...
