... in the port were going to be 3-4m so not safe for the tenders, it was decided to head to our second stop of Huatulco, Mexico which is not in the path of the hurricane. It is hard to believe that there is a hurricane out there as I sit and write this, the sky is blue with just a few scattered clouds and warm temperature of low 20s. The seas have a small swell out of the south so there is not a lot of movement of the ship. After lunch we walked the promenade deck for 3.6kms then sat ...

... get to relax and hang out with people that I wouldn't otherwise have ever met and great to get to see a part of Molly's past.

As we got out and drove during our time in San Diego, we realized that the strong fuel odor was still happening. It seemed to be only when the truck was running but we weren't moving, which resulted in a pretty funny (in retrospect) routine every time we came to a stop (which turns out to be a lot in San Diego). Molly and I ...

... all, San Diego has been a very relaxed experience. The weather improved on the second day and it was sunny and about 17C. Everyone here complains about the cold weather but to be honest I feel pretty lucky about having almost 20C in December!
It's definitely a nice place to live, although it makes a bit an artificial impression (they have plastic grass in the squares!). But at the end of the day it doesn't matter when you see the beautiful sunset on the beach....
