Since Monday, we've kept busy, walking each morning at a track behind the YMCA. It's about .8 of a mile. We're walking just over three miles, there, around and back to the Days Inn. We'll go to dinner and then hang out this evening at the motel. Tomorrow we'll go back to Lynn's brothers and spend the afternoon and have dinner again. It's been good for them and us both.

All in all, it's been a good ...

... not far from any of these restaurants and the Farmer's Market, is worth the trip for the unique items that you are sure to find there. Holly Buttimer-Jones, a local artist and philanthropist, can turn trash into treasure with a mere stroke of her brush. It is amazing how she can take practically nothing, discarded pieces of wood, glass, old windows, barn doors, stones; you name it, and under her watchful eye, it ...

Clear skies, the scent of pumpkins permeate the air, and a return trip to Barnsley Gardens beckons. One of my best girlfriends and I traveled there recently, hoping for a ghostly encounter in this hauntingly beautiful place. After dinner at the Woodlands Grill, a favorite destination whenever I visit Adairsville, Ga., Jayme and I headed to the ruins for a masquerade ...
