The anchorage in Chesapeake City is not a big one, but it is well protected. We got there with only two boats ahead of us. I saw what looked like the city wall with one sailboat on it, but I had read that you can no longer tie up there. We moved to the back of the anchorage and dropped anchor in a corner. Morning walk at the High Line. Park walkway converted from a disused railway track.

Drove south. Stopped for lunch at Mt Laurel.

Then south again to Chesapeake City but couldn't find a room there.

Found an inn at Georgetown called the Kitty Knight Inn. It is supposedly haunted by a good ghost called Knitty Knight. She saved the house and a neighbours house from being burnt down by the British raiders.

So I take another U-turn and go to the right fork and Huzzah! The McDonald's Arches appear before me yet again. So I get to the original intersection now coming from the other side, so I thought alright just have to cross and make a right into the McDonald's, but alas I see that there is no way into the McDonald's from that side. No worries though, Ill just make a right at the intersection and make a left into the McDonald's. ...

... like growing up as a black girl, and I told her about George Washington Carver, Booker T. Washington, some other black people that we learned about on the trip. At one point, while we stopped, I went into the speedboat and we went 49 mph at our top speed! When I was at the front of the little boat I was bouncing up and down like I was on a roller coaster ride. I even felt ...
