    ... out, people are lining the streets, even lining up for ice creams. Actually, this is not so weird because Americans seem to enjoy lining up. If one person stands still for long enough, you can bet that other people will start standing behind them! We are underwhelmed with the rampant consumerism here and stay only long enough to await the return ferry. Whilst waiting, we get talking to a couple and their little son from Paris.

    ... I could have easily lived with the 3 GB option.

    - Three bus loads of tourists descending on the breakfast buffet is like a feeding frenzy.

    - Iceland's crime rate is so low that crime novels set here must be filed in the fantasy section of bookstores. Studies suggest that the lack of major class divisions: upper, middle and lower are nearly non-existent. 97% of people identify as middle class.

    ... we missed yesterday. We chat on the way about our nerves from the night before. Maybe it's because we are somewhere new or we can't get used to homeless people being everywhere. We conclude that we may have over reacted by how we felt and there is nothing to be scared of but we are looking forward to moving on. On this bus tour we have a hilarious driver and tour guide.
