      During the past two weeks, I have had numerous retirement gatherings. I received many plaques, gifts, and well wishes. Today at 10:30am, I officially left Turf Care and retired. I dressed up for the occasion by wearing my Hawaiian shirt. Sheila suggested I wear shorts and flip flops, but that was pushing the envelope.       Johnnie and I arrived at the airport and said our goodbyes to family. We made it through check in and security in record time and have lots of time to spare. The terminal is quiet so it wouldn't take much for me to take a nap. I fear that people watching will keep me from sleep though.
