There are two things we have learnt about SFO. Parking a car near your apartment is mission impossible, and maps that bike hire companys' give you have absolutely no scale to them. However, mastering their bus system is easy with the Muni bus web site! We started our first full day of exploring SFO on bike. After a leisurely morning and a lunch in a sushi restaurant we made our way up to the City and the winery to bottle the Esquisto wine (Grenache/Mourvèdre). The bottling line is in the back of a trailer and fortunately doesn't run too fast... I was putting the caps on the bottles and Mike was filling the cases.
