      We woke up to another beautiful sunrise. The sky was cloudy and it was cool out, temp in 50's.       ... closer to the departing time, the announcement that the flight was overbooked was made. They were offering a $200 voucher and transfer to a later flight. I would have jumped at the opportunity, because free money is well free money, but the new flight times didn't line up.

      ... spending a morning at the pool we opted to head to nearby Manitou Springs for lunch. Manitou Springs is a historic little mountain town with a vibe similar to Blowing Rock, NC. We saw families like ours, locals with big trucks, hippies with RVs and lots of motorcycles. Like many mountain villages, Manitou Springs has a river that runs through the center of town.
