... Phew. They have these carport like tunnels that cover the road in certain areas of the Kicking horse and Rogers pass. These carports or snow sheds protect the highway and train tracks from being blocked by the 10 meters of annual snowfall the Selkirk mountains see yearly. They were pretty cool to ride thru.

... sure why everyone in the group did not participate as we were given a heavily discounted price. In the end, only half of our group (ten out of twenty people) put there name down. Two blokes took us on the water where in pairs we were launched of the back of the boat 30-40 meters in the air. It was so relaxing and quiet up there for the 15 minute ride; definitely worth the discounted price. I would definitely be keen to do it again some time. ...
