... Monday we should have expected it.
We settled in to our home away from home and met our hosts. We then set off from our home to search for some take out pizza which turned into a long game of hide and seek. I was tired, hot, grumpy, and hungry and done. I wanted to get settled but of course the shop was really busy making for a long wait. Good thing the Pizza was delicious. Me and the girls ...
... very knowledgeable. We tried some more dessert wines and another couple of whites, and ended up buying one of each of their dessert wines, including one called an icewine. This is made from grapes that are left on the vines until winter and having spent at least three days at -8C, are then made into a deliciously sweet syrupy wine that goes amazingly well with chocolate (or can also just be quaffed on its own!!)

Today we boarded our Moose Network tour bus for Western Canada.The first days drive was to Kelowna about 4 hours north east of Vancouver. The drive was on the lower mainland which has 60% of all British Columbias population. Our tour guide for the week is Megan.

Excitement of the day, Steve saw two bald headed eagles, one on the route down to Kelowna and the other whilst out on our stroll along the promenade.
Our new, and final, hotel is very comfortable with a very well equiped kitchen. I'm not sure the wine chiller is quite big enough! We had a bit of a problem earlier when one of the local Canada ...
